Video-Based Training (SCORM Standards)
The SCORM activity allows teachers to upload any SCORM or AICC package to a course. SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model) is a collection of specifications that enable interoperability, accessibility, and re-usability of web-based learning content. Our LMS complies with the SCORM 1.2 specification.
The SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model) is a set of specifications and standards for web-based e-learning. Users can deliver SCORM content via LMS by uploading any SCORM or AICC package to the LMS course. There are also community plugins available that provide limited support for the Experience API (Tin Can). A commercial plugin that provides full support for SCORM 2004 and the Experience API is also available in Plugins here.
Our LMS does not generate SCORM content. Our LMS presents the content in SCORM packages to learners and saves data from learner interactions with the SCORM package. Some people hand-code SCORM objects using HTML, JavaScript, and sometimes SWF files. There are some templates provided by ADL and by others, which make this process easier. Others use SCORM authoring software to generate SCORM packages. This process is easier for non-technical users, but not as foolproof.
Articulate Publishing Tool
Using Articulate Storyline or older tools like Articulate Presenter ’09, coupled with Articulate Quizmaker ’09 is a solution in developing SCORM content for our LMS. Both Articulate Presenter and Articulate Quizmaker are SCORM certified by an independent ADL certification expert (both SCORM 1.2 AND SCORM 2004). This means that Articulate Presenter and Quizmaker will seamlessly report results to our LMS by uploading the published project as a SCORM package. With the complete suite of products from Articulate, you’ll be able to quickly create e-learning courses from PowerPoint and develop interactive content, quizzes, assessments, and surveys.

Basic Report
The basic report page shows a table of attempts for the SCORM activity. If you have the SCORM activity set up to allow multiple attempts, there may be more than one attempt for some users.
SCORM Interactions Report
The interactions report shows students' responses to questions together with the correct answers. The interactions report may be downloaded in ODS, Excel, or text format and include responses, right answers, and results (whether the response to a question was right or wrong).
Graph Report
The graph report displays graphs of the percentage obtained against the number of participants.
Objectives Report
This report is similar to the interactions report but if a SCORM package is set up to report objectives then this report will display the status and raw.score of any objectives data passed back to our LMS.
