Clean-in-Place

It is a method or automated cleaning process that makes use of both physical agitation and chemical treatment. It is used to clean any sanitary equipment that can be cleaned inside cannabis processing plants, including pipes, tanks, process vessels, vats, mixers, blenders, separators, pasteurizers, heat exchangers, and more. In between batches or SKUs, after a predetermined amount of production or downtime, or when your system is prepared for the sanitation team to finish its cleaning process, it can be carried out. CIP can be carried out without equipment removal or disassembly, which enables your process to be up and running more faster than hand cleaning or Clean-Out-of-Place (COP).
