Dry sieve hash or dry sift is a form of non-solvent hash comprised of extracted cannabis trichomes, parts of the cannabis plant that contain the active compound Tetrahydrocannabinol (or THC) and other cannabinoids like Cannabidiol (or CBD), Cannabinol (or CBN), and Cannabigerol (or CBG). It is done through a technique involving the use of a screen or sieve that mechanically splits the trichome heads from the cannabis plant. The powdery, crystalline resin is captured as it falls from the plant and is referred to as the dry sieve hash.
