Puerto Rico legalized medical cannabis in 2015, allowing patients with qualifying conditions to access cannabis through licensed dispensaries. Recreational cannabis remains illegal. The medical market is regulated, with a focus on ensuring patient access and compliance. There are currently no Puerto Rico cannabis training requirements established at this time.
