Root Rot Treatment for Cannabis Growing

Cannabis Growing

Root rot causes plants to go from healthy white roots to light brown seeds when you have cannabis growing. As root rot progresses, they will turn darker until they die off.

Root rot causes leaf chlorosis followed by wilting leave and slowed plant growth when you are growing cannabis. It is common when roots are deprived of oxygen and un-aerated water.

When roots rot during cannabis cultivation, it invites pests and diseases to eat the cannabis plant so cleanliness is the best prevention by using fresh, sterile growing mediums.

Not reusing old growing mediums will help prevent this, and keep pH above 6.5+ in soil and about 6.0+ in hydroponic mediums. Finally, be sure to take preventive measures to reduce pests that may dine on roots when cannabis grows.
