Eye Safety
For a workplace to be completely safe, eye safety must be considered. Unfortunately, thousands of people are blinded each year by work-related eye injuries. Most of these injuries could have been prevented with the proper selection and use of eye and face protection. Our Eye Safety training will help you protect yourself, your employees or coworkers, and the workplace.
Eye and face protection must be provided whenever necessary to protect against chemical, environmental, and radiological hazards or mechanical irritants. Ensuring your safety and the safety of those around you includes conducting a workplace hazard assessment and adequate training for all workers who require eye and face protection.
After our Eye Safety training, you will understand the basics of eye protection on the job, be able to identify the potential work activities that can cause eye injury, and “know how” to prevent those injuries. You will also learn about the use, maintenance, and inspection of protective eyewear as well as proper first aid for eye emergencies in the workplace.
