Description
Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission (CCC) requires proper training is critical to the success of any Marijuana Establishment (ME) or Medical Marijuana Treatment Center (MTC). A responsible Vendor means an ME or MTC that the Commission has determined to have completed the initial training requirements and has maintained its training requirement under the Commission’s regulations. Responsible Vendor Training (RVT) is mandatory. RVT programs are operated by education providers accredited by the CCC to provide an annual minimum of four hours of required training to agents. All Agents involved in the handling and sale of Marijuana need to successfully complete an RVT Program to be designated a “Responsible Vendor”. Agent must receive four hours of ongoing training annually. The training must include at least four (4) hours of active in-class or online instruction time by a Commission-certified Responsible Vendor Trainer.” Participants must pass a written test with a score of 70% or better.
