What You’ve Done |
After 35+ years of breaking my body in tough manual labor jobs, I lost my last job and decided I just couldn’t work through my chronic pain anymore. I’m proud of the fact that I’ve always been able to provide for my family, and especially proud of my time in the Infantry, but it has taken a toll on my body. It was time for a career shift. Cannabis has helped me immensely to manage both my chronic pain and my PTSD, and I’m a firm believer in its efficacy as medicine. It just makes sense for me to turn it into a fulfilling career. My goal is to start as a Medical Cannabis Consultant, then see where the industry takes me from there.

What You've Learned |
While I’m coming from a place of zero professional experience in the cannabis industry, I’d say my top 3 exceptional skills would come from my background in logistics, customer service, and the military. I have a talent for educating others from my time as a history tutor, I’m self-disciplined from my time in the Army, and from my own personal experience, I have a passion for advocating for cannabis as an incredibly effective medicine.

Your Next Mission |
I’m fascinated by the synergistic relationship between the various forms of THC, CBD, and terpenes, especially how the various terpenes contribute to the entourage effect in different ways. While I’m definitely no scientist, I’d love to be able to work on a team that contributes to this knowledge.
But what I’d really love to do is find a way within the industry to help my fellow veterans, especially the ones who, for whatever reason, have fallen through the cracks. I’ve met a lot of unhoused vets who wouldn’t have ended up in their situation if they had only been able to find the help they needed dealing with mental and emotional pain like PTSD and physical pain from injuries they’ve suffered as a result of their time in service. If I can help them, then I’ll have left this world a little better than I found it.
