Injury is one which only minor injuries occur and which can normally be handled by a trained first aid person. This also includes initial treatment and a one-time follow-up visit even if treated by a physician. However, once prescription medication is provided or stitches are required, the injury is then required to be classified as a recordable injury per OSHA.
