What You’ve Done |
I am a first-generation Liberian American woman with over 15 years of experience spanning multiple industries. I am a licensed cosmetologist and certified makeup artist who has worked with celebrity clients, led high-performing teams, and represented several cannabis ancillary brands—all driven by a deep commitment to community and equity.
I hold Associate Degrees in Accounting, Management, and Cannabis Studies, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Stautzenberger College while simultaneously earning my Cannabis Dispensary Operations certification. Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in The Business of Cannabis at LIM College to deepen my strategic understanding of the industry.
In addition to my hands-on experience, I help shape cannabis education as Assistant Editor for The Lexington Line. After graduation, I plan to advance my expertise by pursuing a Master’s degree in Medical Cannabis Science & Therapeutics, along with a certificate in Medical Cannabis Science, Therapeutics, and Policy at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy.
My proudest professional achievement to date is winning Budtender of the Year 2024 for the state of Maryland, after being nominated twice. Looking ahead, my greatest aspiration is launching AfroCann—a series of holistic wellness and education centers across the African diaspora. AfroCann will serve as a pillar for community empowerment through cultivation, workforce development, and cultural restoration—beginning in Liberia and expanding across West Africa. It will embody the phrase “it takes a village to raise a child.” I plan to be at the forefront of expanding the cannabis industry into West Africa.Â

What You've Learned |
Over the course of my career, I’ve learned how to translate vision into impact—across industries, communities, and platforms. One of my strongest skills is building trust through education. I know how to break down complex concepts and connect them to real-world needs. I bring empathy, cultural awareness, and technical knowledge into every interaction, especially when guiding patients toward safe, empowering cannabis experiences.
Another key strength is brand representation and customer engagement. As a licensed cosmetologist, certified makeup artist, and former celebrity stylist, I’ve spent years helping people feel seen and confident. In the cannabis industry, those same skills translate to high-impact patient consultations, product education, and brand ambassadorship. I know how to represent a brand authentically while keeping community care at the center.
Finally, I bring entrepreneurial vision and execution. My background in accounting, management, and cannabis studies allows me to connect operational excellence with community-driven purpose. Launching AfroCann—a wellness and education center rooted in the African diaspora—isn’t just a dream; it’s a roadmap I’m actively building with every degree, certification, and project I take on.
Above all, I lead with intention. I don’t just want to be in the cannabis industry—I want to shape it, heal through it, and open doors for those who come next.

Your Next Mission |
My next mission is to build and contribute to purpose-driven teams that are passionate about transforming the cannabis industry from the inside out. I’m especially drawn to roles and companies that prioritize education, community engagement, and equity—not just in theory, but in practice.
I want to work alongside visionary thinkers who value lived experience just as much as formal education, and who see cannabis as more than a commodity—it’s medicine, culture, history, and a vehicle for healing and empowerment. I’m excited to tackle challenges like expanding patient access, developing culturally competent education, and creating pathways to ownership and leadership for marginalized communities, especially Black women and those across the African diaspora.
One of my immediate goals is to unionize my dispensary, ensuring workers have a voice, protection, and a seat at the table in this rapidly growing industry. Labor rights are cannabis rights, and I believe sustainable progress must include the people doing the daily work.
I thrive in environments where innovation meets intention—whether that’s building community-centered programming, contributing to inclusive policy development, shaping internal DEI frameworks, or curating educational content that demystifies plant medicine.
Ultimately, I’m committed to helping reshape the cannabis space into one that’s accountable, inclusive, and sustainable. I aim to leave a legacy rooted in collective growth, cultural restoration, and radical care.
