Out The Door (OTD) pricing is the process of including all relevant taxes or additional charges in the final cost of a product sold at a dispensary. Customers that are purchasing cannabis products will know the final price before that product is rung up. Pros of using OTD pricing include customers knowing exactly what they are going to pay and eliminating adding up taxes during transactions. However, the simplicity for the customer or patient makes for more complicated and non-standard accounting or bookkeeping.
