All retail owners and managers must complete training in responsible cannabis sales before receiving a permit. Employees must also be trained before starting work. Saskatchewan cannabis training is mandatory for full-time and part-time staff in permitted premises, including owners, managers, supervisors, retailers, cashiers, and security personnel, as well as for those promoting cannabis. Cleaning staff in permitted stores are exempt. All other workers must be certified before employment.
