Illinois legalized medical cannabis in 2013 and recreational cannabis in 2019. The state has a regulated market for both medical and recreational cannabis, with licensed dispensaries and producers. Responsible Vendor Training (RVT) was established by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) to provide Illinois Cannabis Training to all industry agents.
