Cannabigerovarin (CBGV) is a non-psychoactive minor cannabinoid naturally present in cannabis. As a varin derivative of Cannabigerol (CBG), CBGV features a shortened #1excludeGlossary alkyl side chain, distinguishing it chemically and potentially biologically. Known as a precursor molecule, CBGV contributes to the biosynthesis of other cannabinoids like THCV and CBDV. While research on CBGV remains limited, initial findings suggest it may possess therapeutic properties, including anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and neuroprotective effects, positioning it as a valuable component in full-spectrum cannabis products.
