Cannabinodivarin (CBVD) is a rare, non-psychoactive minor cannabinoid found in cannabis. It is structurally related to Cannabinol (CBN) but features a shortened #1excludeGlossary alkyl side chain, distinguishing it as a “varin” cannabinoid. CBVD is believed to form through the natural degradation or oxidation of Cannabidivarin (CBDV). Though research on CBVD is limited, preliminary studies suggest it may have therapeutic potential, including anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective effects, contributing to the broader entourage effect in cannabis.
