Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

Accredited: Green CulturED has been partnered with American Heart Association (AHA) as an Authorized Training Provider (ATP) to provide the online component to receive AHA Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) course card credentials.

This Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) compliance program is designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements. This CPR compliance program provides a “blended learning experience” that are delivered in two (2) separate blended training components:

  1. Online Training: The 1st step is completing our online CPR training to learn science-based knowledge that’s required before scheduling your classroom-based skills session before you’ll be issued a AHA course completion card.
  2. Classroom Instructor-Led: Your 2nd next-step is to find a close location that’s an authorized AHA Training Center (click here) to schedule your instructor-led classroom training and skills “checkout” session by using a local training center.

Use this “blended learning experience” that’ll combine industry-leading “best practices” from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and AHA to raise awareness about safety and health to prevent injuries, illnesses, and fatalities in the workplace through safety programs. This training will share safety standards and technical knowledge to make workers safe, reduce death and disability from heart disease and promote wellness programs in the workplace.

After completion of this “blended” compliance program, it’ll ensure workers are proficient to give CPR and use an AED in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC). Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course.

AHA Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) course cards are available only to authorized Training Centers (TCs) with a confidential security code issued by AHA National Center ECC Programs. Each student who successfully completes an AHA ECC course will be issued the appropriate course card, which bears an AHA logo. The TC conducting the course is responsible for card issuance and security through its instructors and Training Sites.

Heartsaver CPR AED is a course that teaches adult CPR and automated external defibrillator (AED) use, as well
as how to relieve choking in an adult. This course teaches skills with the AHA’s research-proven practice-whilewatching technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback, and guide the students’
learning of skills. Infant and child modules are optional. Provider cards are available exclusively to authorized TCs
for issuance in accordance with AHA policy.
