Michigan
Michigan became the first state in the Midwest to legalize both medical and adult-use cannabis. In November 2008, Michigan voters passed the Michigan Compassionate Care Initiative, which allowed marijuana use for individuals with severe or terminal illnesses. There are no Michigan Cannabis training requirements established by the commission at this time.
